MarkDown bzw. ParseDown, ist die Sprache der Webredakteure und ermöglicht die Erstellung von Beiträgen, Artikeln und Content in atemberaubender Geschwindigkeit. Die MarkDown-Syntax verzichtet vollständig auf HTML-Tags und HTML-Befehle. MarkDown-Texte sind daher unendlich recycel- und wiederverwendbar.

Die so genannte MarkDown Syntax verwendet einfache ASCII-Zeichen, um Texte zu formatieren oder um Tabellen oder Listen anzulegen.
